SMS Messaging Program

EvolveVet operates a text messaging program on behalf of the veterinary practices that use our services. This section governs that program and forms part of these Terms. The SMS Messaging Program page describes the program in full.

How you are enrolled

You join in writing, on your veterinary practice's intake form. The form carries a standalone SMS checkbox that is unchecked by default, and you must check it yourself. That checkbox is the only way to join. We do not enroll you from a spoken request, and there is no keyword you can text to start receiving messages.

Consent is optional. The practice does not require the checkbox to register you, to book an appointment, or to treat your pet.

That authorization is recorded against the specific phone number you gave. We do not buy, rent, or otherwise obtain phone numbers from third parties, and we do not message a number that has not been authorized.

What we send

Messages relate to your pet's care at the practice: reminders that a pet is due for an assessment or procedure, appointment information, and replies to questions you send us.

We do not send marketing or promotional messages. This program carries no offers, discounts, or promotions. If we ever add them, we will ask you for a separate authorization first, and you will be free to decline it and keep the care reminders described here.

Message frequency varies. There is no fixed number of messages per month.

Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier may charge you for sending or receiving text messages, depending on your plan.

How to stop receiving messages

Reply STOP to any message. You will receive one confirmation message and nothing further. You can also ask your veterinary practice to withdraw your authorization, which has the same effect, or call the practice on the number shown in its messages.

Delivery

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy

Information collected through this program is handled under our Privacy Policy. We do not sell it, and we do not share your mobile number or your consent to receive messages with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
